Group or Solo walks

I offer a daily dog walking service where I will collect and drop off your dog. After he/she has had an amazing time with other dogs on a group walk or just with myself on a solo walk.

To begin with, I will come to your home, (there will be no obligations) to meet your dog and his/her family at a mutually convenient time and where possible accompany you both on one of your walks, so I can get to know your dog and his/her behaviour around familiar people and places. This will help me to ensure that he/she is then happy when out with myself, – if you decide that I am worthy of having the honour of your dog joining us at Animal Allsorts.

Group Walks

With over 20 years experience working with dogs and many other animals, as well as qualifications gained including modules such as Animal Behaviour and Animal Training, I have a great deal of knowledge in reading dog behaviour, so together with your input about your dogs character and temperament and my assessment of your dog after a couple of meetings and introducing to my own dogs, I will carefully introduce your dog to other dogs I feel will suitably match and with whom I think will enjoy each others company on the walks.

A maximum of 6 dogs will be walked at once.

I am of the opinion that all dogs need to enjoy their walks with me, so if for some reason I feel that your dog is not happy within the chosen group, I will make necessary changes to ensure this is not the case. I can assure you that all dogs welfare will be paramount at all times.

Solo Walks

If your dog is more the solitary type who doesn’t enjoy the company of other dogs, then he/she can join me on a walk alone and we’ll create our own fun and will try to avoid areas where there will be lots of other dogs.

 

Whether a group or solo walk, there will be a variety of walks to suit your dog and keep them entertained while they have a five star time with me.

Dogs can be walked for an hour or half an hour, on or off lead at your request, however I will not walk a dog off lead until I am confidant he/she is comfortable with myself and happy to return to me when called.

    A C.R.B. certificate is an essential element when looking for a dog walker/pet sitter.
    An up to date certificate ensures you have confidence that you are not handing over your house keys or more importantly your beloved pets to anyone with a criminal record.
    A copy of the C.R.B. certificate will be brought along to the initial meeting.

    We all hope that there will never be an incident where insurance is needed, but sometimes as we all know accidents happen.

    A copy of the certificate will be brought along to the initial meeting.

    Enjoy the advantages of professional help.

    Keeping up to date with pet first aid, so that if your animal has any kind of accident or becomes unwell while in the care of Animal Allsorts, you are safe in the knowledge that emergency first aid can be provided and then veterinary attention sought immediately.
    A copy of the certificate will be brought along to the initial meeting.

PET SITTING
Whatever your pet, be it a tarantula, cat or horse, I understand how important they are to you and how much anxiety leaving them for any period of time can be.
DOG GROOMING
As an experienced dog groomer, I can offer a mobile grooming service for your four legged friend. I will visit your home and groom your dog within the comfort of your own home.
PET TRANSPORTATION
I can be your pets taxi service. If your pet needs the vet and you are unable to transport them there, I will collect them and take them to their pre-confirmed appointment.
MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION
Has your pet been given some medication from the vet that you are struggling to give to him/her or other commitments mean that you are not available to administer it at the time needed?
TRAINING ADVICE
Having trouble with one of your pets or just want advice on basic training? I can come and meet you and your pet and assist with training advice.
